This plant which was first cultivated in China and grows wild in India was first introduced to countries like Japan, and Sri Lanka by traveling monks and traders. Although today there are more than 3000 varieties of tea, each maintains its own unique flavor and garners its named from the distinct region in which it is grown.
For best flavor, steep for 3-5 minutes.
All loose teas are shipped with biodegradable tea bags.
